My family and some extended family spent Thanksgiving on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon this year. It was absolutely breath taking, and 100% way too cold. Six of my nine cousins, my two siblings, and I got to spend four days in one of the most naturally beautiful places in the United States of America. We stayed in the El Tovar hotel, ate turkey dinner at their fantastic dining room, went on beautiful but insanely long hikes, went on a four hour mule ride, and saw a bunch of imax movies in the four days we were there. It was a fantastic trip (even though the highest it got to while we were there was 30 degrees Fahrenheit), and I know that we were able to make even more memories to look back on with fondness. And I got plenty of landscape pictures and selfies to remember it by.

Not even sure what this plant is.

The view from a six mile hike.

Small observation room/deck.

The view from the edge at the very top.

I call this one, "Lauren Hansen if you fall off that cliff trying to take a picture I will kill you!" -Quote by my wonderful mother Kelly

Ben mule riding in 14 degree weather.

All in all, a fantastic trip.
