Fisherman's Wharf

One of my favorite parts about my yearly Canada trip, is all of the boats. We go and eat lunch at the Fisherman's Wharf in Victoria, and all around are boats. Sail boats, speed boats, house boats, cruise ships in the distance, taxi boats, and luxery yachts. They are all sorts of different colors, shapes, sizes, and brands. It always fascinates me how many there are.

Sail boats have always been my personal favorite because they just look so cool and are so much fun.
One of my other favorite facts about Fisherman's Wharf, is the view. I was able to sit at my table, pull out my camera, and take the picture below without moving an inch. It can be a bit scary soemtimes because there really is no railing, just a six inch bumper to stop you from falling over the side. What I love so much about this place though, is all the colors. All of the houses are painted bright florescent yellows, greens, blues, and reds. They all float (which I can't even imagine), and they are all right in the thick of things.

Becuase Fisherman's Wharf is such a tourist destination, there are all sorts of cars with liscence plates from all over the continent, and more interestingly, motorcycles and vespas. They are all lined up so neatly in the picture below, that I had to take a picture and I ended up with one of my favorite pictures from this trip.

Canada is my own little fairy tale place, and I look forward to the summer when I can hopefully go back this year.
